Grocery Tax Rebate Food Assistance
The Grocery Rebate Tax is an annual cash payment to low-income individuals and families living in the City of Fort Collins and its Growth Management Area. It provides your family with direct assistance in exchange for the taxes you spend on food. For 2026, $81 is available to each eligible household member.

This 12-acre botanic garden, home to a tropical Butterfly House, offers a place for healing and retreat, rich educational opportunities, and family-friendly public events.
